Call Of Duty- Black Ops

Views:
Call of Duty: Black Ops differs from most previous installments,
which would involve a usual three-country campaign while Black Ops
features two playable countries (Russia and the USA), but only has
an American campaign. Gamers play from the perspective of Captain
Alex Mason of the MACV-SOG, Jason Hudson of the CIA, and Russian-born
soldier Viktor Reznov of the Red Army. The game also introduced several
new features such as dive-to-prone and the available use of a flashlight
on certain weapons.

Views:

The Return of the King is a hack and slash action game.
The game is very similar to its predecessor.
The levels are twice the size of the largest level from
The Two Towers and less linear.A major change from The
Two Towers is the interactive nature of the game environments.
The player can operate machinery, for example bridges and catapults,
to complete objectives, and use environment objects as weapons,
such as spears and cauldrons, to kill enemies.
Each character has their own set of combos and attributes.
After the end of each level the player can upgrade their characters'
abilities and combos using experience points earned in the game.
The number of experience points available to the player depends on the
efficiency of their kills in the game.Interviews with the film's cast and

Acer iconia W3-810 Leaks to the Net as the First 8-inch Windows Tablet

Views:

Microsoft recently confirmed that it was in fact working on smaller-sized Windows tablets for the not-too-distant future, something we’ve been expecting for a while now. With the market making a push to 7 and 8-inch tablets it was only a matter of time. Still, when will we see the first tablet with a smaller display? The newly leaked Iconia W3-810 seems to indicate the answer to that is “soon”.

The W3-810 is a mid-range 8-inch tablet with a 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor. Not much else is known about the device, but we can guess that it will be reasonably affordable considering the small display size.
IF Acer can release such a device at similar pricing to devices like Apple’s iPad Mini, it could certainly catch the attention of those that have occasional need of basic desktop Windows programs, such as those in the business world. Remember that with the power of an Atom processor, the W3-810 might not be running modern PC games or advanced PC programs, but it could certainly handle basic programs and older PC games.

What do you think of the idea of 7 and 8-inch Windows tablets, would you be interested if Microsoft and its partners can actually deliver aggressive pricing this time around?

Twitter App For Google Glass

Views:

The Facebook Home app hasn’t had a solid start, but Zuckerberg and his team certainly scored by being the first social network to take over Android handsets. Twitter, on the other hand, seems focused on Google’s promise for the future, the search giant’s Glass.

Earlier, a twitter user by name of Shivster Muddler tweeted a picture (posted below) of a lemon tree. The message, which has been uploaded via “Twitter for Glass”, said “just shared a photo through glass”.

This guy could have been testing a new Twitter app for Google Glass. Of course this could have been made up, though it’s not nonsense to believe that the app is in the works especially since venture capitalist John Doerr hinted earlier that Twitter is working on one.

So we might see a new Twitter app for Google’s high tech specs, which may or may not be the next big thing. What other apps would you like to see on the Glass when it reaches your hands? Wanna play Angry Birds with you pupil? Hopefully, the device will allow you to do more than just launching the apps.

Apple’s Tablet Market Share Slips, Samsung on the Rise

Views:

Apple is still top dog when it comes to tablet market share, a pretty impressive feat for a company with only 2 tablet models to choose from, however they aren’t sitting quite as pretty as before as their share has slipped while rivals begin to catch up.

When the ‘tablet wars’ kicked off, the Apple iPad seemed all but unbeatable, but times have changed and the iPad mini came a little late to the party giving the likes of Samsung, Amazon, Asus and others the chance catch up with their pint-sized offerings. The shift in market share is quite dramatic with Apple slipping from a 65% share at the start of 2012 to just under 40% this year. In second place Samsung enjoys a 18% market share, with Asus and Amazon making up the rest and Microsoft coming 5th with 1.8%.

From what we have been seeing Apple’s share will continue to slip unless they really do something special with the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2, but even then it won’t be easy, as a new Nexus tablet is expected soon, along with more Samsung tablets on the way.
